The Christie Learning Zone is a hub for all members of staff at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. It also provides access to learning for colleagues across the UK and internationally.

This learning platform brings together every aspect of professional education across the Trust — from Continuing Professional Development and clinical skills and systems training to leadership, communications, medical and non-medical training, and workforce development.

We offer three types of course formats to meet different learning needs and preferences:

  • eLearning Courses – self-paced, fully online modules you can complete anytime from anywhere.
  • Blended Courses – a combination of eLearning and live sessions (either in-person or virtual) that integrate theory with hands-on application.
  • Face-to-Face Courses – In-person training held at our facility, ideal for skills and scenario-based learning and live interaction with instructors.

No, you can explore all available courses without registering. However, you must register and log in to view the course content and begin learning.

Most courses are free for eligible Christie staff and NHS learners. Some specialist or closed courses may require approval before enrollment.

Once enrolled, you’ll see the course appear in your learner dashboard with progress tracking and access to all course materials.

Yes, a digital certificate is awarded upon successful completion of each course.
